Zusatzinformation zur AFIB-Technologie – neue Prävention:

Die patentierte AFIB (Vorhofflimmern)-Technologie von Microlife führt ein Screening – mittels oszillometrischem Verfahren – über eine einfache Blutdruckmessungen durch. Wird während der Blutdruckmessungen Vorhofflimmern erkannt, wird dies durch einen blinkenden AFIB-Indikator am Ende der Dreifach-Messungen angezeigt. Microlife AFIB wird für das Screening oder ein Follow-up zu Hause für Patienten mit Vorhofflimmern empfohlen. Microlife AFIB ist nicht mit einer Diagnose gleichzusetzen sondern liefert wichtige Informationen für Ihren Arzt um mit einer EKG-Untersuchung Vorhofflimmern zu diagnostizieren.

Geprüft und zugelassen zur Erkennung von Vorhofflimmern:

Microlife AFIB erkennt Vorhofflimmern mit einer sehr hohen Genauigkeit (Sensitivität 97 – 100 %, Spezifität 89 %) wie mit zwei kürzlich durchgeführten Vergleichsstudien mit EKG gezeigt wurde. Diese Studien 1, 2 wurden mit rund 500 Probanden in den USA und Europa durchgeführt.
